Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in radiology and be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining procedures and ensuring patient comfort
- Operate CT equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures
- Monitor patients during scans to ensure safety and image quality
- Review scan results with radiologists and physicians
- Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and calibrated
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or equivalent in Radiologic Technology
- Certified and registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
