Job Title: Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and certified Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team. The primary responsibilities of this role include operating CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform CT scans in accordance with physician orders
- Position patients correctly and explain the procedure to them
- Operate CT equipment to capture detailed images of patients' anatomy
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the scanning process
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret results
- Adhere to safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Perform routine maintenance on CT equipment to ensure optimal performance
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification in CT
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in image production
