Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our team. The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
1. Perform CT scans according to physician orders and protocols.
2. Ensure patient safety and comfort during the imaging process.
3. Position patients correctly and operate CT equipment to obtain high-quality images.
4. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
5. Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide diagnostic information.
6. Follow safety protocols and maintain equipment in proper working condition.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
2. ARRT certification in CT.
3. State licensure or certification as required.
4. Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and equipment.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a busy environment.
