Job Title: CT/X-Ray Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CT/X-Ray Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic procedures and CT scans to assist healthcare providers in diagnosing and treating patients. This role requires a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for radiographic procedures
- Operate CT and X-ray equipment to obtain high-quality images
- Monitor patient safety during procedures and ensure proper radiation protection measures are followed
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to determine appropriate imaging protocols
- Assist with patient scheduling and data management
- Maintain equipment and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Qualifications and Skills:
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program
- Current ARRT certification in both radiography and CT
- State licensure as a Radiologic Technologist
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiographic techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Knowledge of PACS systems and electronic medical records
