Job Title: Echo Technologist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Echo Technologist to join our team and perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds on patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cardiac imaging techniques and will be responsible for accurately capturing images and analyzing results to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various heart conditions.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds on patients
- Set up and operate echocardiography equipment
- Analyze images and data to provide accurate reports to physicians
- Maintain detailed records of procedures and patient information
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure proper patient care and treatment
- Stay current on advances in echocardiography technology and techniques
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associate's degree or certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography
- Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
