Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at Scottsbluff Medical Imaging. The radiologic technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures, maintaining equipment, reviewing patient medical history, and ensuring patient safety during procedures. The ideal candidate will have a patient-centric approach, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepare and position patients for various imaging procedures
- Administer contrast dyes through intravenous lines as necessary
- Operate and maintain x-ray equipment
- Review patient medical history and ensure proper imaging protocols are followed
- Record and analyze patient data for physician interpretation
- Ensure patient safety during imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of procedures performed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Associates degree or higher in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT certification
- NE state licensure
- 1-2 years of experience in the field
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
