Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Vascular Sonographer/Tech to join our team in performing non-invasive ultrasound procedures to evaluate the circulation and blood flow in patients. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a passion for providing high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Perform vascular ultrasound imaging procedures on patients in accordance with department protocols
- Use Doppler techniques to evaluate blood flow in arteries and veins
- Prepare preliminary reports and communicate findings to healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure patient comfort during procedures
- Stay current on technological advancements in vascular imaging and attend continuing education courses as needed
Qualifications and Skills:
- Graduation from an accredited vascular sonography program
- ARDMS or CCI certification in vascular technology
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in vascular sonography preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
