Therm, Incorporated, a leader in providing innovative machining solutions to a global market, is currently seeking a qualified individual for a position in our Quality Assurance Department for a CMM (Coordinated Measurement Machine) Operator.
-First Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm) & Second Shift (3:00pm - 12:00am
-Overtime as needed or as business necessitates.
-Starting wage dependent upon experience.
PRIMARY JOB DESCRIPTION, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Duties include Gage calibration and correlations, part 1st pc layouts and full first article inspections, M&TE calibration, issue gages to shop floor, writing part and gage inspection programs.
-Be able to read, understand, and work to complex mechanical drawings and/or blueprints.
-Must have a good understanding of geometric tolerance.
-Must have strong math and sound working knowledge of trigonometry.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
-CMM programming experience using CALYPSO software highly preferred.
-Background in processes related machining and metal components helpful.
-5 years of successful employment in a manufacturing setting.
-At all times, work to Therm, Incorporated Code of Ethics, Safety Standards and Quality Policies while performing operational functions.
-Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
-Must pass a physical examination including drug testing.
-Background checks also performed.
