Job Description
As a National Builder Account Manager for our Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fypon brands, you will drive growth and profit for the business through the management of all interfaces with the key accounts of our National Builders.
The ideal candidate will have experience managing national accounts in building materials and developing business strategies, experience building relationships with builder accounts, ability to create professional high-quality PowerPoint presentations, and be available to travel up to 50%.

Basic Qualifications:
Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is Hiring Pay Range: $105,000 USD - $125,000 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.

Job Description
As a National Builder Account Manager for our Therma-Tru, Larson, and Fypon brands, you will drive growth and profit for the business through the management of all interfaces with the key accounts of our National Builders.

- Direct account responsibility for National Builder locations in the eastern half of United States
- Implement National Builder Account strategy and communicating to all appropriate internal and external stakeholders, including national builders, field sales organization, and local trade partners.
- Coordinate with other National Account Managers and the field sales organization to manage our strategy and its successful implementation at the national and local level of the National Builder Account.
- Work with Vice Presidents of Sales, National Accounts Managers, Regional Sales Managers, Field Sales Team, Marketing Managers and Financial Team to develop pricing and programs appropriate for maintaining and growing our profitable position with National Accounts in the Regional Market.
- Maximize the growth and profitability of the National Builder Program.
- Lead all contract negotiations with National Builder Accounts both internally and with the corporate management of the National Builder Accounts, working with resources to support contract endeavors including legal, marketing, and senior management in the contract negotiation process.
- Develop and implement account plans for each key customer within the builder segment and communicating the elements of the plans to all-appropriate internal personnel and external customers.
- Represent Therma-Tru, Fypon, Larson and Fiberon at a regional and national level in appropriate national builder associations and conferences.
- Comfortable having challenging conversations with customers; examples may include price improvement or specific requirements of a program.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3-5 years experience managing national accounts in building products
- Familiarity with market forces affecting business and builders
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Experience with account management and planning
- Knowledgeable in generating and negotiating pull-thru programs, managing and growing builder relationships and experience with multi-step distribution process
- Proven track record of growing sales and driving results
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Proficient in using a CRM (i.e. HubSpot)
