Construction Thermal Service is a construction company specializing in supplying and installing Insulated Metal Panels (IMP) for various corporations from food industries to aerospace facilities. CTS has three divisions holding offices in Minnesota for our TCS Cold Storage division, in Florida as our CTS Aerospace division, and a location in Puerto Rico under our Caribbean Cold Storage Solutions division.

We are looking for a Safety Director to implement, monitor and continue the development of company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a related field.
- 5-7 years of construction safety experience with general contractors on commercial/public works projects.
- Preferred certifications: CSST, Scaffolding, Fall Protection.
- Required certification: OSHA 500.
- Ability to train employees on equipment and scaffolding.
- Highly motivated, organized, detail-oriented, proactive, assertive, and level-headed.
- Experience with OSHA enforcement and consultation visits.
Key Responsibilities:
Safety Program Development:
- Design and implement company-wide safety policies, procedures and training programs.
- Conduct regular assessments and updates of safety programs to align with industry standards and regulations.
Compliance Monitoring:
- Ensure all construction activities comply with OSHA, local, state, and federal safety regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Must be able to travel the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico.
Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver safety training for employees, subcontractors, and management.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and accountability through ongoing communication and engagement.
Incident Management:
- Investigate workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain detailed records of safety incidents and implement preventative measures to avoid recurrence.
Team Collaboration:
- Partner with project managers, site supervisors, and workers to integrate safety practices into daily operations.
- Provide leadership and support to ensure safety measures are effectively implemented and maintained.
