Description :
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Estimator, Aerospace Manufacturing to join our team. This role involves working closely with the Program Management Office (PMO), Finance, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams to develop and manage project budgets, proposals, and cost analysis. The ideal candidate will excel in data analysis, organization, and collaboration while ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Work with the Program Management Office (PMO) to integrate project budget with scheduled activity both during proposal and award phases through the use of Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
- Lead / support proposal activities of diverse and inclusive teams with high levels of engagement and collaboration across various sites, engineering disciplines, processes, and roles and responsibilities on programs
- Compile labor hours, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with Request for Proposal (RFP) specifications
- Review operating budget requests submitted by various departments and provide analysis and recommendations on these requests
- Research and analyzes historical data, develops Consolidated Bills of Material (CBOMs) and other associated deliverables in support proposal efforts
- Confer with Supply Chain Management or directly with suppliers to ascertain lead times and associated cost for project requirements
- Identify logistical risks and flag to mitigate with appropriate contract provisions during the proposal phase
- Support the proposal, onboarding and change management of projects
- Support Finance, ERP system and tools updates / testing to ensure cost structure is in line with the Disclosure Statement and rate calculations
- Maintain all records and supporting data used and provided in support of proposals
- Work with the PMO, operations and finance teams to track, analyze, and report on budget trends and variances
- Edit, revise, and maintain a series of custom reports, charts, tables, and presentations to track and monitor departmental and line item spending
- Demonstrate a sense of urgency, ownership of tasks, and accountability
- Excel at organization and navigate ambiguity to drive clarity and inform and unite others
- Perform related duties and prepare materials for presentations and special projects as assigned
