Allentown, Pennsylvania / Clinical Trials Division (CTD)
A day in the Life:
- Perform monthly closing activities including journal entries, accruals account reconciliation and analysis
- Ensure all journal entries and account reconciliations conform to our internal control procedures
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies regarding general accounting
- Balance Sheet accounts reconciliations through the Black Line
- Confirm monthly balances with intercompany partners. Perform monthly intercompany netting to ensure proper recording of transactions
- Other miscellaneous projects and duties as assigned
- Review weekly accounts payable check runs
- Clear intercompany balances monthly
- Responsbile for Sox key control operating effectiveness, company policy compliance and documenting policies and procedures
Education
College degree or diploma in Accounting or Finance
Experience
- 5 years of accounting experience preferred
- Proven analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Hyperion, SAP and Blackline Systems experience is a plus
- Public accounting and experience in a large, global organization is a plus
