The Principal Analyst, Finance Systems will have experience in Oracle Cloud implementation and support, specifically in Oracle Fusion PPM. As part of a global Financial Systems team, this role provides management and delivery of process improvement and Oracle projects together with global end-user support of our financial & planning applications.
This position can be remote based on the East Coast or hybrid based in Wilmington, NC or Morrisville, NC.
- Develops complex financial models and systems specifications to support financial operations and provide decision-making support to senior leadership to achieve financial and business objectives related to finance systems technology.
- Administers the development, implementation, integration, and efficient processing of the Oracle Cloud system, with an emphasis on Oracle PPM Suite (Project Billing, Project Costing, Revenue). Any experience on Financials Suite (AP, AR, GL etc.) or EPM will be an added advantage.
- Provides project management, consultation, analysis, testing and implementation support for Finance projects including upgrades and enhancements.
- Provides consultative and technical support of the ERP system, interfaces, and integrations with other financial applications.
- Defines requirements and acts as a liaison between various finance departments and the technology department to resolve technical issues and design new features and/or application solutions.
- Generates queries, develops reports, ensures data integrity, performs systems maintenance, and provides routine audits as required.
- Provides oversight of reporting team and data requirements from the business.
- Directs the development, implementation, and maintenance of all corporate financial systems.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree (or Masters) in Accounting, Finance or Computer Science.
- Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 8 years’ experience) or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.
- Oracle cloud ERP or onpremise implementation, upgrade, maintenance and support experience in Project Billing & Project Costing.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficient in writing SQL Queries and PL/SQL Coding.
- Experience with BI Publisher, OTBI, Cloud BI Reporting Tools, Snowflake, Smartview etc.
- Experience in other ERP areas (R2R, P2P, EPM cycles) is highly desirable.
- Support experience in a large enterprise using Oracle ERP will be favorably considered. Knowledge of Oracle Financials, Oracle SQL, would be an advantage, as will familiarity with reporting tools and relational database concepts (such as SQL and MS Access).
- Experience leading a department or a large team and participating in AOP, Budgeting & Forecasting processes will be a plus.

- Knowledge of data mining, reporting tools and relational database concepts.
- Able to multi-task and provide close attention to detail while managing conflicting priorities.
- Ability to positively contribute to a team atmosphere and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as demonstrated by the ability to identify the source of a problem and determine the appropriate solutions; resolve and prioritize sensitive problems.
- Able to handle multiple projects with challenging timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative.
- Ability to handle confidential data appropriately.

The salary range estimated for this position is $110,000 - $150,000. This position will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
