How will you make an impact?
The Sr Quality Control Technician is responsible for supporting lab operators through material handling, transactions, and scheduling while ensuring a general responsibility for safety, quality, delivery, and cost daily, while in the QC team.
Responsibilities :
- Performs material transaction requests and expenses materials
- Assists in Cycle Count
- Coordinates between planning and QC teams to achieve schedule attainment demands based on constraints within supply, capacity, equipment or other aspects of operations.
- Analyze data / critical metrics to monitor the progress of QC activities. Adjust the schedule as needed to maintain delivery or collaborate with planning to assess impacts on the schedule.
- Assist with updating QC testing methods, SOPs, and batch record forms to align with current laboratory practices and improvements
- Maintain a team-like mindset and communicate effectively
- Ensure the laboratory is well-stocked and resourced
- Supports, embraces, and promotes the Thermo Fisher 4 I values - Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
- Help maintain the Quality Control laboratory in a safe, tidy, and efficient condition and to ensure safe working practices are followed

Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $21.82-$32.73.
