How will you make an impact?
The Peptone Manufacturing Worker will perform manufacturing operations associated with the production of animal-based peptones.
What will you do?
- Prepare raw material for use in digest kettles
- Setup and operate digest kettles, steam kettles and filter presses
- Setup and load product dryers
- Unload, weigh and transfer dried product
- Operate pH meters
- Equipment cleaning
- Facility cleaning
- Support completion of other tasks as needed as assigned by a Supervisor including cross-training on other equipment
How will you get here?
Education
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
Experience
- Good Manufacturing Practices / ISO experience
- Good Documentation experience
- Use of Standard Operating Procedures
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
· Ability to write legibly and clearly
· Read and comprehend directions to complete tasks
· Basic math skills
· Attention to detail
· Strong verbal communication
