Job Summary:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our large-scale Mission Critical Controls projects within a state-of-the-art datacenter environment. This role demands a proactive leader with extensive experience in planning, risk management, and multi-disciplinary coordination. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that project objectives are met on time, within budget, and with an uncompromising focus on quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities:

Comprehensive Project Leadership:
Plan, manage, and execute all phases of project deliveryfrom design and installation to execution and closeoutwhile maintaining strict adherence to scope, quality, and timeline standards. -
Risk and Change Management:
Develop detailed risk management strategies and proactive plans to address potential challenges. Monitor project risks and ensure any impacts are promptly identified, communicated, and documented through formal change orders. -
Schedule and Manpower Planning:
Create and manage detailed project schedules, incorporating manpower and resource planning to ensure seamless execution. Coordinate with a team of 25 direct staff while interfacing with internal engineering teams and external project sites. -
Client Relationship and Commercial Management:
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and clear communication channels. Oversee commercial aspects including budget adherence, financial tracking, and procurement planning. -
Subcontractor and Vendor Coordination:
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and vendors to ensure alignment with project objectives and timelines. Ensure all parties are working cohesively toward common goals. -
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with technical teams, senior project leads, company directors, and principals to integrate expert guidance into the project lifecycle. Provide mentorship and training to junior project managers, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree - Engineering/Science/Business (Preferred but may substitute experience)
- Experience: Typically, 10 years total experience with at least 5 years as a project manager in a construction environment.

- Create, review, and enforce scope of work for subcontractors, ensuring all contractual obligations and quality requirements are met.

- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met and exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide accurate project forecasts and progress reports, adjusting plans as needed to remain on schedule and within budget.

- Accurately estimate task durations and project complexities to provide realistic forecasts.
- Monitor project progress against milestones and adjust schedules and resource allocations as required.

- Identify opportunities for new work and additional services with customers and contractors, contributing to the companys growth and evolution.
Supervisory and Team Leadership Responsibilities:

Travel required:
- Role - Full Time On-Site - Travel as needed to support Project Objectives (Minimal)
- Project duration 3-5 years, anticipate relocation to TBD Project Site at project completion
On Call:
- Per project requirements.
Work Authorization/Other Requirements:
- Proof of eligibility to work in the country where the position is located is required.
- Maintain a valid drivers license.
