Summary
The Facilities & Maintenance Technician will be responsible for entry level building facilities tasks and assisting Senior Maintenance Technicians on maintenance of injection molding and accessory machinery. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, basic electrical, plumbing, door hardware repair, painting, floor repair, and machinery maintenance. This candidate must be organized and have the ability to follow work instructions. They are responsible for documenting work completed via Thermoflex’s ERP System (IQMS).
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Observe all safety/regulations and perform duties in a safe and efficient manner
· Basic electrical work on 120V circuits
· Basic plumbing work
· Installation of warehouse guardrails and hardware
· Painting
· Clean, inspect, operate, or test machinery or equipment to diagnose machine malfunctions
· Dismantle machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools
· Perform routine building/maintenance inspections such as, but not limited to, roof top units, production equipment, drives, motors or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, or doing other preventative maintenance actions
· Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct
· Order parts, supplies, or equipment from catalogs or suppliers
· Assemble, install, or repair and equipment, machinery, components, etc.
· Reliable attendance
· Ability to use a computer and technology in tracking and documenting work orders
· Other duties as assigned in Management’s sole discretion
Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities
· High School diploma or equivalent
· Experience with large tonnage injection molding maintenance preferred but not required
· Must have previous experience with building equipment, such as, but not limited to, air compressors, chiller systems, tower water systems, electrical distribution, plumbing, and door hardware
· Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
· Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance
· Demonstrate knowledge of safety procedures pertaining to the general operator
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
· May engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing/pulling of parts
· May be required to stand for long periods of time
· Must be able to lift 45 pounds
· Must be able to work from heights over 20’
· Must be able to climb ladders over 30’
· Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate for occasional weekend work and emergency service calls

Salary : $22
