We are currently recruiting for a Director, Project Management Office.
Thermon is recruiting a Director, Project Manager Office (PMO) working from our company location in 8880 Telephone Rd, Houston, Texas 77061 (near Hobby Airport) , U.S.A. Thermon, a global company, is a profitable, market-leading industrial process heating solutions provider with the latest performance of $440 million in annual revenue. Last fiscal year, Thermon produced record results with an increase of over 20% in revenue growth.
This individual will lead strategy and project management performance, managing a direct and indirect ~20-person team globally. The ideal candidate for this role is a seasoned PMO leader, accustomed to leading a large, geographically dispersed team, with a track record of effectively driving accountability and results.
The ideal candidate will also have strong knowledge / experience in installation and constructions projects involving heat tracing, immersion heaters, process heating equipment, and insulation.

PMO Leader Responsibilities
- Establish PMO role, create center of excellence that aligns with the Project Management Institute (PMI) guidelines, quality standards and company strategy
- Implement efficiencies that meet or exceed the financial expectations established at project initiation, including project scope increases and productivity
- Develop and govern program and portfolio management processes, uses of dashboards, templates, project health reports, while maintaining alignment with policies and metrics
- Monitor projects, programs and portfolio to ensure compliance with project policies and standards as well as keeping to schedules, budgets and
- Manage project, program and portfolio deliverables and tasks
- Determine staffing requirements, Hire and manage PMO staff, including project, program and portfolio professionals, in line with project objectives. Coach and mentor team and share knowledge and best practices.
- Coordinate deliverables with project managers, sales leadership, finance and accounting
- Oversee project managers of all projects to make sure delivery of their projects is on time and within budget as well as meeting quality standards
- Report to executive team on progress and performance of PMO. Work with executive team to assess and decide on which PMO investments have the highest potential value, impact and strategic alignment
- Identify project, program and portfolio priorities, deal with challenges and communicate project risks and opportunities
- Corporate partnership : Be an effective business partner with key stakeholders including Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, Marketing, Operations, and Research and Development

Senior Vice President, Global Sales
Mr. Cerovski brings more than 25 years of energy industry leadership experience in positions ranging from engineering, product management, sales, business development, and business unit management. In this role, he will manage the Company's overall commercial organization and also spearhead Thermon's expansion into new geographic and end-use markets, especially with the Company's latest products and solutions. Prior to joining Thermon, Mr. Cerovski held executive positions with General Electric, Wayne Fueling Systems, Dover Fueling Solutions, and Trojan Battery Company. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science from Montana State University, a Master of Science from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration from George Washington University
Bruce Thames
President and Chief Executive Officer
Bruce A. Thames joined Thermon in April 2015 as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Thames was promoted to President and Chief Executive Officer and appointed as a member of the Board of Directors on April 1, 2016. Prior to joining Thermon, Mr. Thames was Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of TD Williamson in Tulsa, Oklahoma, a position he held since 2012. He joined TD Williamson in 2005 as Vice President, North America. During his tenure at TD Williamson, he also served as Vice President and General Manager, Eastern Hemisphere. Mr. Thames began his career with Cooper Industries (formerly Intool, now Eaton Corporation), where he spent 12 years in various roles within the product engineering, marketing and operations groups. Mr. Thames then joined GE Energy (formerly Dresser Flow Solutions) and served primarily as the Director of North American Operations and Product Director for Ball Valves globally for Dresser's Valve Group during his tenure from 2002 to 2005. Mr. Thames holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
