Position Hours : FULLTIME 2nd Shift : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 30 PM (Monday - Friday)
Position Wage : Starting at $25 per hour (plus based on experience)
17% shift premium included

Job Description : The Supervisor / Shift Foreman is responsible for ensuring the plant is being run efficiently and safely byensuring schedules are being met for customers, personnel are properly trained, assisting withproduction when needed, keeping proper documentation & records, ensuring proper safetyequipment & protocol are being utilized, and overall keeping the shop morale high. Being able to notonly oversee team members but being proactive by assisting them to accomplish the day’s goals will becrucial.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities :
Production
Work closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules & commitmentsScheduling of work & communicating as needed with customersOversee operations on production floorUnderstand the processing of all material within production areasEnsure plant organization & cleanlinessDocument all maintenance concernsCoordinate with Maintenance Department for any equipment repairsDocument & report all equipment issues to Plant ManagerTeam Development & Training
Working one on one with employees to help in their overall performanceComplete semi-annual employee reviews for all team membersProvide training, coaching, & disciplinary actions for all team membersMaintain documentation of training for employeesConduct startup of new equipment & record all training documents neededWeekly goal assessments of all individuals in temp to hire statusMonthly goal assessments of all ThermTech employees in collaboration with shift foremanLeadership
Follow & enforce proceduresComplete shift checklists dailyManage inter-shift meetings and participate in hourly plant walk-throughEnsure adequate shift coverage through employee scheduling & cover hours asneededMust be able to work weekends as neededBring company phone home to assist in after-hour issues when neededCommunicate lead times to CSR DepartmentMaintains & strengthens employee morale through the servant leadershipphilosophyProvide constructive recommendations for overall improvements in safety, quality &productivity standards of performance.MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

Education :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Acquire / maintain forklift certificationExperience :
2 years in heat treating and prior management / leadership
