THE JOB
As an Associate Technology Director, you will lead day-to-day execution of technology projects and initiatives, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards. You will play a vital role connecting our technology vision and strategy to our project execution through guidance, mentorship, and hands-on problem-solving. Working closely with our technology leadership team and alongside other cross-functional teams, you will ensure seamless implementation of digital solutions that align with client requirements and strategic objectives.
AS A PERSON, YOU ARE:
A Tactical Implementer – You excel in translating strategy into execution, ensuring technology initiatives are completed efficiently and effectively.

- A Hands-On Technologist – You bring deep technical expertise and are comfortable jumping in to code, troubleshoot, and optimize solutions when needed.
A Team Leader and Mentor – You provide guidance and support to technology teams, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence.
IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:
Lead the execution of a variety of technology projects, ensuring alignment with client creative, technical, and business goals.
- Guide, mentor, and enable developers, providing technical execution leadership, and problem-solving support.
- Help implement best practices in coding, system architecture, and digital infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
- Work closely with technical, operational, and project leadership to help scope, plan, and resource for technology initiatives.
- Guide and participate in development of web applications, mobile apps, platform integrations, and other digital products.
- Troubleshoot technical challenges, optimizing performance, and ensuring smooth deployment and upkeep of digital solutions.
- Collaborate with creative, strategy, and operations teams to translate concepts into feasible technical executions.
- Research and recommend new tools, platforms, and automation solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.
Partner with other technology leaders to help define and plan the future of technology at Thesis for both client and internal initiatives.
AS FOR EXPERIENCE, YOU NEED:
6 years of experience in software development, web development, or digital product engineering.
- 2 years of experience leading technical projects and teams.
- Strong expertise in modern full-stack technologies, including JavaScript (React, Vue.js, Node.js, etc), web and mobile frameworks (Next.js, Nuxt.js, React Native, SwiftUI, etc) and modern cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Cloudflare, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with integrating third party technologies, including CMS platforms, APIs, and CRM solutions.
- Knowledge of AI-driven automation, data-driven solutions, and personalization technologies.
- Familiarity with build and deploy automations, security best practices, performance optimization, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate technical challenges efficiently.
- Desire to mentor and enable a diverse group of developers, enabling knowledge sharing, learning, and growth within an inclusive environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, ensuring smooth coordination across teams.
