THE JOB

Thesis is seeking a strategic, positive, curious, and solutions-oriented individual to join our team. The Executive Producer will lead a team of production and account professionals, overseeing multiple client relationships to drive growth and ensure sustained engagement. They hold ultimate responsibility for the overall success of each client’s partnership with Thesis. Additionally, they will play a key role in navigating, training, and enhancing the production process and team development.

  • A Master at Prioritization. You handle competing priorities with grace, and follow through on projects to timely and successful completion. 


IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:  

  • Develop and implement comprehensive growth strategies and plans for clients.

  • Manage multiple client relationships simultaneously, ensuring full-cycle engagement.

  • Facilitate consistent and effective communication between clients and internal teams.

  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on the performance of client projects.

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for new business within existing accounts.

  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure client needs are effectively met.

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize detailed scopes of work for assigned clients.

  • Work closely with Legal and Finance teams to ensure proper application of client contracts and Master Service Agreements.

  • Develop financial strategies, negotiate rate cards, and build relationships with client procurement departments.

  • Build and manage realistic project timelines, schedules, and budgets, while managing expectations on both client and agency sides.

  • Oversee the resourcing and staffing of production teams to ensure the success of client projects.

  • Actively participate in project production from intake to wrap as needed.

  • Maintain composure and effectiveness in a dynamic environment, ensuring the team remains calm and focused.

  • Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff.

  • Oversee the daily workflow of the team.

  • Conduct constructive and timely performance evaluations and create growth plans for all direct reports, providing leadership and mentorship.


AS FOR EXPERIENCE, YOU NEED:

  • 8 years related experience, with 2 years in an Executive Producer role required.

  • Proven experience in leadership and management of supervisor/manager level direct reports.

  • Proven experience in production and account services within a digital marketing or agency environment.

  • Ability to handle multiple clients and complex projects and run projects directly without ego.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to act with integrity, composure, and confidentiality.

  • Approaches all rooms inside and outside the agency in a friendly, professional, optimistic and solutions-oriented manner.

  • Experience with facilitating team development.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

  • Experience managing developmental teams and working directly with clients on websites, applications and digital products is a plus.


WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Using standard office equipment, computers, and related technology.

  • Certain activities are performed in an environmentally controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting, keyboarding, and manipulating a computer mouse.

  • Bending, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 25 pounds.

  • Minimal travel is anticipated for this role.

  • Thesis operates using a flexible hybrid model, work occurs remotely two days/week and in the office three days/week.

  • As a proud B-Corp, Thesis prioritizes candidates based in the Portland Metro area to allow for a hybrid working set-up in our beautiful office in NW Portland.
