Job Summary
The Operations Manager will oversee all aspects of landscape maintenance, installation and snow removal operations - ensuring the efficient operation of multiple crews. This role involves supervising a team, building schedules, in addition to customer sales and relations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily operations related to lawn mowing, landscape maintenance, landscape installation and snow removal
- Interface with customers for new sales and ongoing customer relations
- Manage a team of technicians and provide guidance on task execution
- Ensure compliance with safety standards
- Collaborate with vendors for supplies and equipment procurement
- Monitor and manage budgets for landscaping projects
- Conduct regular inspections on equipment and ensure organization of shop assets
Requirements
- Proven experience in lawn maintenance, landscaping and commercial snow management
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage a team
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and best practices
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to interface with customers and represent the company in a professional manner
- Proficiency in supervising operations related to landscape services
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 - $32.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
