The Quality Control must be able to communicate, facilitate and coach effectively. Must be able to interact with vendors and coordinate/monitor customer orders with internal departments to meet master schedule commitments. - Inspect/Receive raw material, purchased parts and components, in-process products and finished products for quality and compliance with specifications. (Final Inspection/Spot Checks) Giving extra attention to new parts.
- Extensive use of drawings and written specifications in coordination with precision measuring instruments, devices, or gauges to ensure conformance with standards.
- Compares finished products with parts lists and assembly drawings to ensure accurate assembly.
- Checks for irregularities and defects, also records first off inspection reports and reports out of tolerance parts to production management.
- Checks accuracy of gauges, scales and other measuring instruments.
- Establish and maintain basis for quality control, quality standards, inspection and test methods and procedures for the organization.
- Establish and coordinate the assembly of records necessary for quality control tracking, including charts, statistical analysis and reports, as needed. Monthly Charts: Quality, Scrap, On Time Delivery
- Plan work in conjunction with subordinates, assist in determining cause for faulty work, quality failures, and scrap or rejects.
- Prepare written evaluation, testing, measuring, charting, etc. procedures and specification, as needed.
- Establish supplier evaluations and coordinate standard expectations with supplier representative.
- Conduct audits of quality methods and procedures.
- Investigate customer complaints and returns and follow through from start to finish.
- Works with department personnel to resolve quality problems.
- Serves as the ISO representative ensuring that the processes need for the quality management system are established, implemented and maintained.
- Ability to exercise individual initiative and discretion in confidential matters and to respect confidential matters.
- Excellent customer service capabilities with the ability to maintain friendly, courteous and tactful manner and clearly convey a willingness to be of service and/or be open to resolving the situation at hand

- Must be motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and/or in a cross-functional work team environment in cooperation with other employees and management to meet demands of our customers.
- Must have a strong sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to improve manufacturing processes thru implementation of lean manufacturing techniques.
- Support, achievement or maintenance of ISO certification.
Educational Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent required. Prefer Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management.
Computer Requirements: Experience in Microsoft Office and the willingness to learn other software programs as needed. MRP/ERP operating system experience preferred.
Experience Needed: Prefer minimum of 3 years experience as a Quality Manager in the Manufacturing Industry. Experience in Manufacturing Processing and Implementing Process and Lean Manufacturing Principles.
