Position: Senior PI Developer (AVEVA OSISoft)

Location: Alpharetta, GA

As a Senior PI Developer, you will provide the excellence in achieving the enterprise historian objectives to achieve the strategic outcomes. Our mission is to design & implement a data and analytics platform/infrastructure that enables a future-state analytics lifecycle, data monetization opportunities, data acquisition, analysis & feature engineering, model training, impact analysis, reporting, predictive and quantitative analysis, & monitoring. The one of the main pillars for this mission is AVEVA OSI Soft PI historian for operational real time data.

The Senior PI Developer will lead AVEVA OSIsoft PI System Installation, Implementation, Upgrade, migrate and Configuration, and develop analytics data processes to drive improved strategic outcomes. This position will work as Real Time PI developer, providing support to all real time data integration projects, processes surveillance and optimization solutions. The Senior PI Developer will define road maps and delivery for complex and high impact projects related to SCADA / Field applications integrations.

Collaborates with peers to translate business requirements to Technical Design Specifications, and design develop code for Control Center applications as required.

Responsible for ensuring the continuous availability of the OSI PI Historian for pipeline operations, facilities, tank farm management and product deliveries.

Provide support AVEVA OSI PI Data Historian infrastructure supporting pipeline operations, facilities, tank farm management and deliveries control Centers.

Install and configure PI OPC Interfaces with failover, Configure PI buffer Subsystem (upgrade and Design).

PI Vision Servers administration, PI-AF SDK/PI Web API Administration and implementation, PI Datalink, PI Vision page development, support, and administration Compliance Activities.

Hands on for configuration, coding, and testing, related to PI Data Historian including but not limited to; Creation/modification of PI tags, PI AF Element templates and AF Elements, PI based dashboards using PI Vision, PI AF Analytics, PI Notifications and PI Event Frames, PI Interfaces: OPC DA/UA, RDBMS, PI to PI.

Manage technical aspects of assigned projects, including planning, and resolving application issues.

Software development in Pl Visualization Suite, Pl Integrator for Google Cloud, Pl Integrator for ESRl ArcGIS and Spotfire, and Pl AF System Explorer Design.

Develop and apply advanced methods, theories, and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex and advanced software applications and problems.

Resolve highly complex hardware/software compatibility and interface design considerations.

System installation, configuration, performance testing, and tuning.

Develop system models, visualizations and dashboards, analytical equations, and reports.

Provide input to staff involved in writing and updating technical documentation such as user manuals, system documentation, and training materials. Developing best practice designs incorporating the full OSl Soft stack.

Serve as a customer interface to resolve problems and ensure requirements are met on a timely basis.

What You Bring to the Table:

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Industrial, or Control Engineering, or Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or related field of study from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.

Ideally, 5 years of experience as AVEVA PI Developer in developing AVEVA PI system applications, data modeling & architecture.

Ability to respond to system alerts 24x7 to resolve issues and ensure application availability.

Exceptional knowledge and experience with the AVEVA OSIsoft PI-Historian (PI-RTQP/PI SQL/PI OLEDB, PI Datalink, PI PI Interface, PI ACE, Rt Reports and Alarms for Batch and process industries) while programming in C#, .Net, Visual Studio, SSIS, API/Adapter calls, SQL.

Deep experience with approximately 5 years that includes hands-on systems experiences in one or more of the OSIsoft PI System functional modules in a production environment.

Experience with at least two full life cycle implementations of OSIsoft PI System modules and experience in dynamic support environment.
