Think Pawsitive Dog Training is in Waukesha, a 34,000-sq/ft building open year-‐round, seven days a week. We offer a variety of services designed for owners and their dogs to develop their relationship and skills through a myriad of interactive activities which include classes, workshops, canine conditioning opportunities, TAILS Academy day dog training program and FUN canine sports. Think Pawsitive Dog Training is looking for a special person who is organized, thorough and enjoys helping people! You will serve as a primary source of administrative support and managing a wide variety of assignments to help the CEO organize their schedule. Executive Assistant Responsibilities Include:
§ Receiving and answering email
§ Basic errands (post office, grocery store, supplies, etc)
§ Assisting the CEO in key office support
§ Coordinating schedules, meetings, appointments, and events.
§ Handling client communication, ex. sending contracts and providing updates, with excellent judgement and discretion.
§ Proofreading outgoing documents for accuracy and proper grammar
§ Creating systems & evolving already existing systems
§ Provides a bridge for smooth communication between the CEO's office and internal departments; demonstrating leadership to maintain credibility, trust and support with management and staff.
§ Assists with CEO and facilities travel arrangements, lodging, and meal planning as needed.
§ Researching, with high level analysis, and reporting on subjects requested by the CEO
Executive Assistant Qualifications Include:
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office (must be proficient in Excel, Word, Google Calendar, Google Drive, and basic computer functions.
-Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
-Ability to effectively manage and maintain focus with competing tasks
-Demonstration of strong analytical skills and the ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
-Ability to build friendly and trusted relationships with clients
- A genuine interest in problem solving and helping others
-This job is highly computer-oriented, so must be comfortable spending time in front of a screen for longer periods.
Required Education and Work Experience:
- High School diploma required; Associate's degree or commensurate experience preferred.
- 5 years experience at executive administrative level required.
