As our Procurement and Inside Sales Specialist at Think-PLC, you’ll be the go-to person for ensuring our team has everything they need to keep projects on track—efficiently and cost-effectively—while also contributing to our inside sales efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Procurement:
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and services in line with project requirements.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors to optimize cost savings.
- Create and manage purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely receipt of goods.
- Collaborate with internal departments (such as operations and shipping and receiving) to forecast procurement needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Oversee vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs, ensuring smooth coordination between suppliers and internal teams to maintain optimal stock levels.
- Resolve any issues related to procurement delays, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and prepare regular reports on purchasing activities.
- Process and complete Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) for incorrect products, ensuring timely resolution and follow-up.
- Manage internal inventory.
- Inside Sales Support:
- Assist the sales team with customer inquiries, providing product and pricing information.
- Prepare and follow up on sales quotes, ensuring timely responses to potential customers.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products based on customer needs.
- Help maintain customer relationships by proactively engaging with clients to ensure satisfaction.
- Track and maintain sales data, helping generate reports to provide insights into sales performance.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, purchasing roles, or inside sales.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of procurement best practices and familiarity with inventory and sales management.
- Ability to provide three professional references.
- Must be willing to commute to Lexington, N.C. Job is onsite Monday-Friday.

Pay: $20.00 - $27.50 per hour
