Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Specialist
Job Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Shipping and Receiving Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently managing the shipment and receipt of goods, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse. This role plays a crucial part in our supply chain management, ensuring that products are delivered to customers promptly and inventory is properly accounted for.

We work directly with manufacturers, automation consultants, and operators on high-value control systems. Our services cover the entire process, from design to installation to ongoing support and maintenance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments of products and materials.
- Inspect and document any damages or discrepancies
- Assist with inventory management, including counting and organizing products and materials.
- Coordinate the scheduling of pickups and deliveries.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers, at times utilizing a 16” box truck or work van.
- Prepare and package outgoing orders accurately and securely.
- Ensure deliveries are made in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintain clear records of shipments, receipts, and communications.
- Communicate with vendors, carriers, and internal teams to resolve shipping and receiving issues.
- Distribute necessary materials to all departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Assist coworkers by purchasing/ picking up necessary parts when needed.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Must be able to take yearly health exam per DOT instruction.
- Proficiency in using warehouse equipment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy packages when necessary.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to operate forklift
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Drug test and background check required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must work well in a fast-paced work environment.
Location:

Education/Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- 6 months logistics, retail, or customer service experience
- Box truck driving experience - not required, but valued
