This position recruits licensed childcare providers within the 7 county metro area and supports their enrollment process in Parent Aware.
Essential Job Functions
Business Partnering: Seeking and building alliances across the business to drive decisions that maximize value.

Tasks/Responsibilities
- Coordinate recruitment plans across regional sites
- Assess networks and relationships to identify areas for improvement
- Provide technical support to partners for provider recruitment
Outreach
- Analyze and identify targeted communities, individuals and leaders for outreach activities Convene groups of providers with similar interests to build relationships
- Present information and trainings to providers and community networks on Parent Aware Act as a liaison for providers, to Parent Aware (a quality rating tool for early child care and education) and Child CareAwareMn® (the statewide link between parents and child care providers)

Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, communications, public relations or a related field
Experience
- 2 – 3 year experience community organizing
- Strong written and oral communications skills
- Ability to communicate with diverse audiences
- Strong influencing capabilities
- Ability to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously and work under deadline pressure
- Knowledge of child development and/or the Minnesota child care field preferred
Computer knowledge
- Working knowledge of basic MS Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Physical demands
- This position is moderately active with requirements to travel around metro area frequently
- There are occasional requirements to lift over 20 pounds
- There are occasional requirements to move wheeled meeting room furniture to prepare for trainings
- There is frequent keyboarding, computer use and communicating via phone, email and in person
Travel demands
- Valid driver’s license, reliable personal vehicle and proof of insurance is required for metro area travel
Other
- Some evening and weekend hours required
