As an Entry Level Events Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our events team in the planning, coordination, and execution of a variety of programs and activities
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning and execution of various events including corporate meetings, workshops, and social gatherings.
- Coordinate logistical aspects such as venue selection, catering, transportation, and accommodation for attendees.
- Support the marketing team in promoting events through social media and traditional marketing channels.
- Prepare materials and resources needed for events, including name tags, agendas, and information packets.
- Manage attendee registrations and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
- Provide on-site support during events, ensuring everything runs smoothly and addressing any issues that may arise.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and vendors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with event management software.
- A passion for events and a keen eye for detail to ensure high-quality execution.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, displaying enthusiasm and flexibility.
