Job Description :
We are seeking a Full-Time Project Manager / Draftsperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting skills, experience managing projects, and in-depth knowledge of NYC zoning and building codes. This role potentially offers the flexibility to work partially or entirely remotely using Microsoft Teams for daily check-ins if experience and productivity meet our standards.
Key Responsibilities :
Prepare architectural drawings and construction documents using AutoCAD.
Manage projects related to condo, coop and restaurant renovations in the borough of Manhattan and enlargement and new construction of buildings in NYCs outer boroughs.
Ensure compliance with NYC zoning resolution and building code.
Coordinate with clients, vendors, and city agencies.
Submit and track permit applications and resolve objections from examiners.
Organize and maintain project documentation and schedules.
Attend virtual or in-person meetings as required.
Requirements :
Degree in Architecture from an accredited school.
3-5 years of experience in architectural drafting and project management.
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
Extensive knowledge of NYC zoning resolution and building code.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
Preferred Qualifications :
Licensed Filing Representative with NYC DOB (a plus).
Experience in 3D modeling (a plus).
Experience resolving examiner objections (a plus).
