Registered Nurse (RN) - Surgery
Location: Kalamazoo, MI

Shift: 9:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Night Shift)

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to join our team in Kalamazoo, MI. The ideal candidate will be proficient in both circulating and scrubbing roles. Experience with the Xi Da Vinci surgical system is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide perioperative nursing care, including circulating and scrubbing duties.
- Assist in surgical procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and proper equipment setup.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to maintain patient safety and optimal outcomes.
- Adhere to hospital protocols and best practices for infection control and patient care.
- Participate in a rotating call schedule, including 12 overnight call shifts per six-week schedule.
- Work every other weekend and participate in holiday rotations as required.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Michigan or compact license.
- Experience in OR experience, including circulating and scrubbing.
- Xi Da Vinci experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Strong ability to function in high-pressure situations and adapt to a fast-paced surgical environment.
