Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Sonographer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations to assist in the assessment of patients' medical conditions. The Sonographer will work closely with patients, providing high-quality care while ensuring their comfort and safety during procedures.
Duties
- Perform ultrasound examinations on patients, including but not limited to abdominal, pelvic, and obstetric scans.
- Utilize appropriate sonographic techniques to obtain high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and alleviate any concerns.
- Maintain patient records accurately and ensure compliance with medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss findings and contribute to patient care plans.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in diagnostic radiology and sonography practices.
Skills
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- In-depth knowledge of human physiology and anatomy relevant to sonography.
- Proficiency in medical imaging techniques, including the use of ultrasound equipment.
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to diagnostic radiology and patient care.
- Understanding of aseptic techniques to maintain a sterile environment during procedures.
- Experience or knowledge in Ob/Gyn sonography is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to provide compassionate patient care while ensuring comfort during examinations.

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
