Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with customers to translate design requirements into final deliverables, from concept through production.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical drawings and documentation for various products, ensuring adherence to applicable specifications.
• Evaluate materials and design elements to ensure compliance with technical and industry standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimizing design processes, enhancing production efficiency, and improving product performance.
• Partner with manufacturing teams to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and align with production goals.
• Research and select tooling, fixturing, and gauging solutions to support manufacturing processes.
• Oversee equipment design modifications, upgrades, and automation initiatives.
• Promote workplace safety by developing and adhering to safe job procedures, contributing to a Zero Injury Culture.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Comprehensive knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and design principles for CNC machining, 3D printing, and other techniques.
• Familiarity with non-destructive testing methods (e.g., Magnetic Particle, Pressure Testing, Dye Penetrant) and mechanical testing (e.g., Tensile, Hardness).
• Demonstrated experience working within ISO/AS9100 facilities and conducting quality audits.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Strong multitasking and detail-oriented abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and design-related software tools.
