Location: Colorado Springs - Covering South Denver to Pueblo areas
We are seeking an outside Business Development professional to join our team!
We are a top roofing contractor based in the Colorado market. Re-roofing, restorations, and on-going roof maintenance, inspection, and repairs of all major steep slope and low slope roof systems.
Function:
The Business Development will be responsible for developing new sales for local/ regional insurance agencies and property management companies. Development of reoccurring claims and revenue sources. This person will serve as a roofing resource to insurance agents and property managers, offer solutions-based recommendations for the agencies and properties and grow the local client base.
Responsibilities:
- Prospect new clients
- Maintain and grow agent and property management relationships
- B2B marketing and networking events
- Maximize market potential by working with current customers
- By acting as their roofing resource, the BD representative will help facilitate roofing alternatives, recommendations, and solutions.
- Follow up with Sales teams, Operations teams, as well as clients to review proposals and necessary suggested sales opportunities.
- Provide technical expertise and cultivate relationships with local insurance representatives, commercial, and multi-family property managers.
- Utilize CRM database to keep organized, develop relationships, track deal progress, and analyze patterns & trends that will increase revenue and close rates.
- Establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on prospects within a 100-mile radius.
- Communicate effectively with clients and local management teams.
- Other projects and duties as assigned by Manager.
Functions and Requirements:
- 5 years B2B experience
- Sales experience in construction, roofing or in a B2B capacity preferred, will train the right candidate
- Fundamental knowledge of roof systems and claims (will be trained)
- Basic working knowledge of computer programs and phone software applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication and time management abilities
- Organized person and enjoys working as outside sales
- Capable of receiving instructions and clearly explaining problems and solutions to customers.
- Must be team orientated and be willing to perform based on the company’s Core Values
- A valid driver’s license and insurable driving record
