Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive legal representation to clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, and related issues.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed and addressing their concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Thoroughly review and analyze case files, identifying key issues and developing effective legal strategies.
- Conduct legal research and stay up-to-date on relevant laws and precedents.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including preparing and responding to requests for information.
- Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and trials.
- Maintain significant client contact, building strong relationships based on trust and understanding.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of Wisconsin.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience practicing family law.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
