Location – Charlotte, NC
Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Transactional Associate. Preferred candidates would have two to four (2-4) years of commercial lending experience and must have a working knowledge of syndicated credit facilities and leveraged finance transactions. Strong interpersonal skills and a desire for in-office development are required. Competitive compensation package includes full benefits. ($200k-$275k)
Responsibilities:
- Represent lenders and borrowers in a variety of secured and unsecured lending transactions, including syndicated loans, asset-based lending, real estate finance, and acquisition finance.
- Manage all aspects of loan transactions, from due diligence and documentation to closing and post-closing matters.
- Conduct thorough due diligence reviews of borrowers and collateral.
- Draft, review, and negotiate loan agreements, security agreements, intercreditor agreements, and other related documentation.
- Work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff members to ensure efficient and effective client service.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active member in good standing of the NC Bar, or eligible to waive in.
- 2 years of experience in corporate lending, preferably with a reputable law firm or financial institution.
- Strong understanding of secured lending principles and practices.
- Proven experience in drafting and negotiating loan documentation.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Salary : $200,000 - $275,000
