Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations including accounts payable, account analysis, and account reconciliation.
- Prepare and present accurate financial reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
- Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with external auditors during audits and ensure all necessary documentation is provided.
- Utilize accounting software such as Passport for efficient financial management.
- Conduct regular reviews of financial statements to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
- Provide guidance on best practices for financial report writing and analysis.
- Mentor and lead the accounting team to foster professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience in public accounting or as a Controller in a corporate environment.
- Strong understanding of debits and credits, regulatory reporting, and financial principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software; experience with Passport is a plus.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate account analysis.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to stakeholders at all levels.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
