This Operations Director role is part of our long-term investment in operational excellence and will ultimately be placed within one of our portfolio companies.
About the Opportunity
This leader plays a critical role in the success and sustainability of the business by ensuring day-to-day operations run with excellence, consistency, and alignment to the company’s values and objectives. Our team values the following qualities and experience for this position:

- Collaborates effectively with the Owner(s), ensuring alignment and trust. Translates vision into practical, day-to-day execution plans and actions.
Qualifications
- Values alignment including building people, pursuing excellence and pursuing execution of goals.
- Strong track record of running day-to-day operations with excellence while developing others through coaching and leadership.
- Prioritizing what matters most - eliminating distractions, and ensuring others do the same.
- Creating clarity in chaos and removing operational obstacles.
- Experience leading team and holding team members (including leaders) accountable with care and confidence.
- Strong “glue” person who holds people, systems, and priorities together.
- Skilled at implementing and improving core processes and systems.
- Demonstrated success as an operator, general manager, or integrator in a small business (ideally with full P&L responsibility)
- Hands-on experience in the trades or a related industry is a plus
- History of building or refining a “playbook” — building scalable, repeatable systems
- Willingness to wear multiple hats and solve a wide range of operational challenges
