ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, THE FOLLOWING:
- Ensuring the cleanliness and sanitization of dishes, tableware, glassware, pots, pans, and utensils by manual and machine cleaning methods.
- Scrape, rinse, and load dishes and utensils into dish machine.
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots and pans, using dishwashers or by hand.
- Place clean dishes, utensils, or cooking equipment in storage areas.
- Complete any minor food prep items assigned to you, such as cutting lemons, portioning pasta, etc.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
- Empty fry oil and clean fryers.
- Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, or utensils in clean, safe and orderly condition.
- Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas, by hand or using hand trucks.
- Maintain sparkling clean restrooms and grounds.

- Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators.
- Clean dish machine - break down at the end of the night
- Sweep or mop floors.
- Sort and remove trash, placing it in designated pickup areas, compactor or dumpster.
- Clean garbage cans with water and soap.
- Adheres to food safety and sanitation standards
- Brings safety concerns to the attention of management.
- Alerts the Manager on duty of customer issues or needs.
- Complete any assigned "sidework," and perform additional cleaning duties as requested.
- Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies, alert Manager to any issues.
Stock supplies, such as food or utensils, in serving stations, cupboards, or refrigerators.
- Reports for work on time.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task, analyze and resolve problems.

- Constant, repetitive physical activity such as bending, walking, wiping, kneeling, twisting, reaching and prolonged periods of standing in a small space; must be able to climb a ladder when needed.
- React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet, and coordinate movement of several parts of the body.
- High level of manual dexterity to safely work with glass, knives and restaurant equipment.
- Auditory and visual skills. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- Multitasking, handling different work activities, and shifting attention quickly from one task to another.
- Able to use muscles to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 lbs.
- Conditions in certain areas of the restaurant may expose the employee to odors, cold or heat, humidity, loud noise.
- Schedule flexibility needed, especially in season during peak high volume periods.
- Must have means of travel in order to get to work.
- High School degree or equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Food Handler Certification
- Knowledge of customer service principles.
- Prior experience in the hospitality/food industry helpful.
