Job Description:
TBH (This Blue Home) Interior Design is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Entry-Level Purchasing Manager to join our growing team on a part-time contractor basis. This position is perfect for someone passionate about design operations, enjoys data management, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will play a critical role in tracking and managing vendor orders, coordinating project selections, and ensuring seamless communication between our design team, builders, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
Vendor Order Management:
- Track and manage vendor orders and invoices for new construction and residential projects.
- Pull quotes/estimates from vendors and ensure timely distribution to relevant parties, such as Junior Designers for mood boards and builders for tracking and approvals.
Data Entry and System Management:
Input and maintain accurate project details in the designated project management platforms. Organize and update project selections to ensure smooth workflows and accessibility for all stakeholders.
Client Order and Installation Tracking:
- Place and track client orders from purchase through delivery and installation.
- Maintain clear documentation and timelines to ensure orders arrive on schedule and align with project deadlines.
Final Selections and Documentation:
- Provide builders with finalized selections using Buildertrend or by creating detailed project binders.
- Ensure all project documentation is comprehensive, accurate, and easily accessible for all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in data entry and the ability to learn new project management platforms (experience with Buildertrend and/or Programa is a plus).
Excellent communication skills to coordinate with vendors, clients, and builders effectively. Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
- Interest in or knowledge of interior design or construction processes is preferred but not required.
