Job Description:
This role involves providing home and community-based early intervention services to infants and toddlers who have or are at risk for developmental delays and their families.
- Conduct multidisciplinary team assessments to identify client developmental status.
- Provide direct speech therapy services and activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
- Collaborate with families to develop Individual Family Service Plans (IFSPs) that address specific goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for each family on your caseload.
- Provide supportive professional assistance to families, acknowledging their strengths, concerns, and progress.
- Facilitate parent-child interactions to promote child development and empower families to advocate for their child's needs.
Requirements:
- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Massachusetts.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or CF eligible.
- Demonstrated knowledge of family systems and early childhood development.
- Ability to engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships with children, families, and community partners.
- Commitment to delivering culturally sensitive and individualized services.
