Job Summary:
The Workday HRIS Specialist will be responsible for the administration, configuration, and maintenance of the Workday Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This role will work closely with HR, IT, and other business units to ensure the Workday system is optimized, effective, and aligned with company HR processes. The specialist will support the team in the implementation of new features, system upgrades, and troubleshooting.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the Workday HRIS system, ensuring data integrity, system security, and user access.
- Configure and maintain HR modules such as Core HCM, Compensation, Recruiting, Benefits, Talent, Learning, and Payroll.
- Ensure the accuracy of employee data within the Workday system by conducting audits and data validation.
- Maintain reports and analytics to support HR decision-making processes.
- Handle data imports and exports to/from the system, ensuring compliance with company policies and data privacy regulations.
- Provide support for HRIS users across the organization, resolving issues and answering queries related to Workday functionalities.
- Create and deliver end-user training to HR staff and other stakeholders on Workday system functionalities.
- Analyze HR processes and propose system solutions that optimize efficiency and enhance user experience.
- Assist in streamlining processes and workflows within the Workday platform to improve overall HR functionality.
- Support system enhancements and new module implementations, ensuring smooth rollouts across the organization.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as IT, Finance) for system integrations with other enterprise systems.
- Design, build, and maintain custom reports and dashboards in Workday.
- Provide regular reporting and data analysis for HR metrics, such as headcount, turnover, compensation analysis, and other key HR KPIs.
- Ensure that the HRIS system complies with internal and external data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Maintain system security protocols, ensuring proper access controls and monitoring user activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in human resources, Information Technology, Business
- Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience working with Workday HRIS (at least 3 years recent experience).
- Experience in report creation, data analysis, and system configuration.
- Experience with Workday integrations and data migration.
- Project management skills with experience handling system upgrades or new implementations.
- Certification in Workday HCM or other related Workday certifications, preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Strong communication and training skills to support HR users
