Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and manage payroll for all employees accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll regulations and tax laws.
• Collaborate with HR to develop compensation strategies that attract and retain top talent. (Benchmarking)
• Validate timecard accuracy for all hourly employees
• Support any and all customer/government payroll audits
• Oversight of tracking for specific compensation commitments to new staff
• Analyze payroll data and prepare reports to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, and wellness initiatives.
• Oversight of new employee benefit registration
• Oversee annual enrollment
• Annual 5500 Reports, 1095-A Reporting
• Analyze payroll data and prepare reports to support financial and operational decision-making.
• Identify opportunities for processing efficiency improvements
• Additional Duties as needed

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. - Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing and benefits administration.
• Strong knowledge of payroll systems, labor laws, regulation and benefits.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail for accurate data management.
• Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel, with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• Those with Prime Point experience will be given preference.
