Key Responsibilities
• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify potential diversion vulnerabilities
• Develop and implement effective diversion prevention strategies in collaboration with pharmacy leadership and nursing staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address gaps in controlled substance handling procedures
• Analyze data from automated dispensing systems and other sources to identify trends and patterns
• Provide training and education on diversion prevention strategies and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 2 years of pharmacy technician experience
• 1 year of experience with automated dispensing cabinets
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
