About the Position
- You will work independently and assist pathologists in performing autopsies, including external examination, organ inspection, and gross anatomy findings.
- You will maintain all equipment, archives, and specimens in the gross room and morgue.
- You will photograph samples for conferences and education purposes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a related biological sciences field is required; a Master's Degree is preferred.
- 1-3 years of related grossing experience is preferred.
- PA Certification or eligibility for PA certification by the American Society of Clinical Pathology (ASCP) is required.
