About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in the Ambulatory Endocrinology practice. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive care to patients with acute and complex chronic conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients for risks associated with their care, including medication side effects, immobility, impaired nutrition, fluid and electrolyte imbalance, immunocompetence, invasive interventions, and diagnostic procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to make diagnoses and develop treatment plans.
- Document all findings and treatment plans in the medical record.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical guidelines.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- National Board Certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Current BLS certification
