JOB SUMMARY
Wash Bay technicians support onsite rig operations by performing the following job-specific duties outlined below.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Utilizes appropriate tools and equipment to clean and prepare Thomas products.
- Communicates clearly and professionally with customers and other employees as needed to complete assigned work.
- Works autonomously with limited supervision, escalating issues to Field Supervisor as required.
- Maintains company and customer work areas to Thomas standards of cleanliness and orderliness at all times, while also observing location-specific safety protocols.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to continuously stand & walk
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Frequently push & pull
- Occasionally bend & stoop
- Requires repeated heavy lifting of up to 75 lbs
- Working outside in variable weather conditions to include heat, humidity, cold & wind.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class C Driver License
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) per insurance guidelines
- Able to work rotational and on-call schedules (14 days on/7 days off), including OT, weekends, nights and holidays
- Requires repeated heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs. and working outside in variable weather conditions
- Able to successfully complete all required pre-hire tests and verifications to include pre-employment drug testing, criminal background check and MVR review.
- Previous oilfield experience
- Forklift operator experience
