Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and guide our client’s hospital and clinic’s compensation, benefits, employee relations, and training policies. Align People Services goals with their mission, values, and strategic direction.
- Contract Negotiations: Represent the hospital in negotiations, oversee labor agreements, and provide leadership in resolving legal and compliance issues.
- Operational Excellence: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of HR trends, lead strategic and operational planning, and build efficient organizational structures.
- Consultative Support: Foster strong relationships with senior leaders, offering expertise in organizational assessment, employee relations, talent acquisition, and change management.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to drive change, enhance employee engagement, and reduce turnover.
- Union Relations: Build and sustain positive relationships with union representatives and manage collective bargaining agreements.
- Training & Development: Conduct training on company policies, benefits, and communication, and collaborate with Workforce Development and Clinical Education.
- Employee Relations: Analyze trends, address concerns, and provide actionable advice to promote a positive work environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles & union experience
- SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
- Experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is highly desirable.
Salary : $118,000 - $176,000
