Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage bi-weekly, semi-monthly, and monthly payroll for employees
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, tax withholdings, and other deductions
- Address payroll-related inquiries and issues from employees
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to maintain employee records and ensure payroll accuracy
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
- Stay updated on payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist in payroll audits as needed
- Contribute to the implementation and improvement of payroll processes
- Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing
- Maintain confidentiality and security of payroll information
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- Proven experience as a payroll coordinator or similar role
- Proficiency in payroll software, such as ADP
- Strong understanding of payroll principles, laws, and regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with benefits and compensation policies
- Understanding of tax regulations related to payroll
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
