Primary Function:
Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The secretary will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies as well as additional clerical/ data entry duties.
Requirements:
- Educational Level: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: one year of administrative experience and/or formal training in office practices preferred.
- Proficiency Skills: Written and oral communication skills, ability to deal with multiple tasks, organizational skills, ability to operate office machinery, computer competence, typing and proof reading skills.
- Personal skills: Pleasant personality, cooperative attitude, physical skills and stamina to perform essential duties.

15. Distributes all mail to the appropriate boxes when it is delivered to the school.
16. Answers switchboard, directs calls and provides information to individuals.
17. Maintains the fax and postage machines. Provides for postage, supplies, maintenance, and use. Delivers all stamped mail to postal outlet at the end of the day.
18. Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
19. Assists with other related clerical duties such as photocopying, faxing, filing and collating.
20. Assist with student enrollment.
21. Assist with data entry as needed.
22. Records shipping information and distributes any shipments within the school.
23. Serves as key communicator/coordinator relating to operations of equipment and supplies for copier.
24. Performs other duties as requested by the school principal.
